CABIN AIR FILTER

What year do the Silverado bodies ( which are essentially Suburbans ) come with replaceable/serviceable cabin air filters ?

Bone-stock except for air shocks in rear (to compensate for removing one rear spring from the spring-pack to give a decent ride on those occasions when not towing heavy loads ! ). Added small winch in pick-up bed to help load our jet ski up its ramp. Normal use is towing approx. 11,000 lb. trailers ( our Bayliner on its 3 axle, or my '38 Packard V-12 in its "box" trailer. Air box modified to accept a cabin air filter the system was obviously originally designed for!

2002-2003, then again starting 2015...you can fit one to your '05 fairly easily.

Except many of the '99-'02 were the GMT-460 and, as such, didn't have cabin air filters.

OK fine... I really dont give one tinker's damn about the 6.5 trucks.

99-02 GMT-800 and 2015+ ..........But you can add them to all the other years in between.

Nope. Dorman makes one, though.
