2017 L5P pitman arm removal

I’m going on 110,000 miles on my 17 Duramax. My pitman arm is making some bad noises. Has anybody changed there’s our yet? My tips?

'11 and newer are same. And box is just a Saginaw. If it's like older trucks, box has to be loosened from frame to use conventional pitman puller.

The steering for as long as I can remember has been junk on these trucks.
I have always done the Cognito upgrade kit which has better/additional support.

I would try adding the Cognito PISK first as well, if it doesn't work you can still swap the pitman arm and still have the PISK to help it last longer.
