Did I slip my TC? 2011 LML

Today after running to the bank I pulled out into traffic and got on the pedal and as soon as the trans went from 3rd to 4th I heard a kind of loud screech/grinding noise and let off right away and it stopped. The truck ha salad been going from 4th gear to 5th way faster than it does any other gears, almost like its missing a gear. Truck has 114,xxx miles.

Tried building some boost after work, around 1k rpm and over it wanted to make that nasty screeching/grinding noise so i stopped.

The only way I can think of to describe the noise/feeling I hear is like scraping something across a washboard really fast....it upshifts into gear and then I hear that noise, not always, but it sounds like something is stripped almost. Sometimes when i come to a stop and put the truck in park there is a pop/creaking coming from right under the drivers side where i rest my feet, I can feel it in the left foot when its on the floor.

After further diagnosing i don't think my issue is related to my torque converter, and yes I am aware that it is normal for the allison to sometimes hard shift under hard accel, but the noise i hear can't be normal. gonna see if i can get some more opinions on here before i throw money at it
