Turning radius

I currently have a 2005 5500 Topkick and a new 2019 5500 HD. Seems to me that my ‘05 has a better turning radius than the ‘19, even though they claim it has an improved turn radius. Any input for other ‘19 owners

My 2004.5 was 54° turning. New truck claims up to 50° turning.
Not sure how those numbers compare. I do know that my motorhome would turn in or out of a site that other motorhomes needed at least 2 try's.

My ‘05 turns better than the new truck. Just thinking maybe they did it for some certain reason, just would like to know. Even though they state it has a better turn radius in they’re specs

Maybe the are simply saying they have a better turning radius than the 2500/3500 trucks, because their turning radius sucks IMO.

The C4500-5500 has a 57 degree wheel cut, one of the significant selling features we had over the competition. My Sales partner and I used to do demonstrations where the big trucks would easily turn inside of a pickup and was equally as nimble (turning wise) as a Camaro. ...
