Steering Stabilizer/Damper

I have a 2006 Kodiak GS Super C Motorhome. I have added Bilstein Shocks, Rear Air Bags, Front Sway Bar, Rear Track Bar and G rated Tires. Still have a issue with ruts in the road and extreme road crown wanting to pull the wheel/rig that direction. I am pulling a 30ft Car Trailer behind it.

So the only item I have not installed on my list is a Steering Stabilizer.

I have the bracket kit for the Roadmaster Reflex but do not have the Stabilizer itself. So before I order it does anyone have first hand info on the Roadmaster Reflex VS the Safe T Plus? I believe they are very similar in performance just a different look (internal coil vs external).

Any recommendations?

When I first got my truck it was squirrelly, it was two hands on the wheel at all times, ruts were dangerous. Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer made it better but not great. Getting the tire pressure set right I can now take both hands off the wheel for miles. I weighed each axle and calculated the ideal pressure. For me it's 100 psi front and 65 psi in the dualies... rear pressure made a huge difference in steering.

The steering stabilizer is good and I have no complaints about it, and I'm safer if I loose a steer tire at freeway speeds.

I probably am running too much air pressure. My tires are load range g and I have them around 105 front and rear. I am around 27K loaded with trailer.
I ordered a Roadmaster Reflex today and will drop tires to around 95 to see if that helps.
Thanks

With a trailer behind you motorhome you will have even less weight on front tires. My Endura weighed in at 6k lbs on the front axle. With my 4 down toad on back. Rear axle was over 15k lbs. I set rear tire pressure at 95 psi and 80 psi on front. I ran 245 G's all the way around. If you are still running 225's you may not have enough tire on rear.
Here is a link to Goodyear RV tire pressures chart. Other manufactures have similar charts.

P.S. my Endura was a 6340.

Thanks Ron. My model is the 6331.
I am running Firestone 561 245/70/19.5. When I weighed it without the trailer I was at 6040F/12,480R. Trailer is a ATC all aluminum that weighs 3600lbs, then add a 3500lb car and 1000lb golf cart plus tools. I am using a Curt Trunnion Type Weight Distribution Hitch to try to put some weight back to the front.

Get it weighed fully loaded. You currently are using way to high air pressure. This will cause steering to wonder.
