t76turbo. Thank you for that. My client has stated many times he’s not going to want to drive it now. Mainly because he doesn’t want to have to keep cleaning it. Haha. But I’m very appreciative and thankful for your response. It does mean a lot especially since I’m so hard on myself as a builder.

Sorry it’s been a while guys and gals. I’ve been taking a lot of pieces in and out for figment checks, as well inventory of parts to see if I’m missing anything or have broken pieces that may need to be replaced and getting all the trim panels so I can wash them and prep them for a dye to be sprayed so they are all the same color. Also running wires in the cab and trying to get it built, for the most part, to make reassembly easier or done before it gets painted and back up on the chassis. Building a subwoofer box to go under the new console and the list goes on. Oh also cleaned all the gunk and grime from under the cab to spray some new sound deadening and undercoating protection. I’m hoping to be ready for primer next weekend.

I finished the sound deadening of the underside of the cab and the 2 other doors. So now the sound deadening is done. Tomorrow I’ll finish the coating for the sub box. And I’ll see what else I can get done.

And the sub box is coated. I’ll fill it with some polyfill and pop in a set of wire terminals and it’s done. I’ll finish with the other wiring under the console later. I still have some modifications to do to the console anyways. (And if you are curious of the product I used for the coating, it is called DuraTex from Acry-Tech Coatings)

On to more wire running in the cab.

Ok I think I’m getting ahead of myself a little. But I really wanted to see it in there. Maybe it will stay, or I’ll probably pull it back out and put it back in at least one more time.

Maybe twice.

Just got the gauge cluster back. I can’t wait to see it working with the new LEDs.

I’m getting things ready to put primer down on the cab and doors. (Filters, fans, plastic, etc.) I’ll be primed this weekend. And I also decided to mount the air gauges in he headliner. One for the tank pressure and the other for bag pressure.

I got everything sanded down to 320 grit yesterday and taped up the cab. A little bit more taping off around the window frames of the doors and the door handles and I’ll be ready. I’ve already wiped everything down with wax and grease remover and I’ll do it again before I spray some primer. I’ll spray after church today. See y’all this evening with some primer pictures.

The cab and doors are now primed with three coats. I’ll let sit for about a week before I start to sand with 500 and then 800 grit to make sure the primer doesn’t shrink under the black. Then sealer, base, and clear.
