Brake Controller Harness Location on 2006 LBZ 2500

Buddy bought a used 2006 2500 LBZ and is looking for the brake controller harness location. He could also use any info on which controller to get and ease of install. I did my 2004 and it was a cinch! Thanks in advance!

The factory harness plugs in in the driver side footwell. Does he have the factory harness? Attached is a pic of the brown plug that would plug in the footwell area. This is a factory harness and curt controller that worked very well for me. I have moved up to a progressive controller (Prodigy P2). If he is looking for a harness and good controller I could post this one up on the for sale area if needed. Also is a pick of the plug in area in the drivers footwell to the left of the brake pedal.
