Factory Installed Gooseneck Looking for HELP!

I'm looking for anyone with a source to the factory gooseneck prep package caps (I believe it started being offered in 2016). I've tried searching everywhere. I've found the literature. Just can't find a way to purchase them. Even stopped at a dealership today and the guy tried telling me they don't come installed from the factory. I have found plenty of literature that says otherwise. Who can help me out? Thanks in advance everyone!

Mine came with the caps to cover the holes in the bed. I'd talk to the dealer.

Yeah, I spoke to a dealer yesterday and they tried to tell me that trucks don't come from the factory with the install. It wasn't until I got home and had time to research that I found out they didn't know what they were talking about. I'm sure there is a giant bin of these caps at the factory.

Have you tried contacting curt manufacturing? Are the Gm round or like these, I don’t have the factory prep?

Ringneks,

I have not contacted Curt. I'm sure they will not have the caps. I know the gooseneck and rail system is a partnership with Curt, but the cuts in the bed are done at the factory. I saw those caps on etrailer as well. The holes are circles.

If you look at this commercial truck brochure on Page 17, look in the top right corner. Those are the caps I'm looking for. I only need one but I would buy a couple if I had the chance.

Ok I did some research and called two local dealers, they both told me the same thing. They gave me a part number of 84022921 $5.98 each, both had to order them, they did day one local dealer here has two in stock. I pulled up cheapest gm parts direct and the part number shows up but no picture, they are $4. Hope that helps.

HOLY SH*T! You're the man! I don't know how you did it, but I'm grateful. I'm going to check my local GMC dealership tomorrow to see if they can order them. I hopped on the website and shipping is $16. If I can avoid that, I will. Worst case scenario, I'll spend the cash.

Thanks again!!!

No problem, glad to help. Your dealer should be able to get them within three days and no shipping charge, I would call several dealers some might have them in stock which is what I found here locally, some have them and some donít. Good luck.

Called the dealership and they ordered me a couple this morning. I'll be picking them up on Saturday morning after work. Thanks again!

scocciante, I'll measure the hole diameter after dinner with the family.
