Here is a video for circuit board replacement, I have found the module online $150, I asked the SM which module he was talking about so we were not confused about the one by the back wheel, (forgot name now)
He said it was under the hood but that doesn't sound right? Is the module and circuit board in the same area?

Who can reflash? Dealer only??

I can not do the coder motor, but it is also $150 but I have found a new mechanic.

The part that is the subject of the video needs no flashing. The TBCM which is located on the frame near drivers side rear axle is the one that needs flashing, if replaced with new.

It would be important to test the electrical components to prove that they're bad before replacing them. Unless you really like spending lots of money on a mere guess by the mechanic, that is.

Thank You Ron, the Dealership assured me that it is the trailer brake module, 100%
should I trust this?
I don't think I know exactly what it is,
"edit" I know what it is since I found an OEM online.

I have replaced the TBCM before so I still have that spare. OOps, I don't think I reflashed. (long time ago)

You are of course right Ron, both the relay and module are located near rear axle, not what I was told by SM, I was also majorly confused, I replaced the relay a while ago.

And they were impressed with my typed "memo" about everything that happened

I'm looking at 6mo old post, and I don't recall seeing the symptoms listed. I mean, I like to think that I know a thing or two about the ITBC

So, $700 & 6 months later?

This has been at the bottom on the priority list, "Service Trailer Brakes" and I have no trailer brakes, the trailer is fine. I told them to check the blue wire, and fuse seems fine.
I did not use the dealer, no codes.
I used the dealer to diagnose two issues.

I have the service trailer brake warning on my DIC and my code is c0845. I've replaced the TBCR, checked all harness plugs, added the camper plug in the bed where the blunt cut wires are tied up at and verified voltage at the big pink wire on the TBCM(pin 15 I believe). My next move will be replacing the TBCM. With that warning on yours I would think you would have some code stored in the computer
