Has anyone weighed their trucks empty "just to see?" I took my 2016 2500HD duramax across the scales the other day with just me and a couple hundred pounds of tools in the back and was floored by the number. Now Im a big boy, bout 400ish. My weight plus my tools was far piece from the listed curb weight 6400+700 being 7100. She tipped in a 8560 on the truck scales. WFT........
Crew Cab short box 4x4 Duramax. Anyone know what it weighs? Thanks, Mike :confuzeld

I'm around 8k with 5th wheel in the back and me, 200lbs

CC SB duramax has a curb weight closer to 7400. Look at the yellow sticker and it will show cargo capacity. Subtract that from 10K will give you curb weight.

My CC/SB/4x4 denali is 7400 empty. mostly empty tank, no driver, etc.

Mine (see sig) is 7350 empty but with 1/2 tank of fuel.

Full tank, plus 17 gal in the toolbox, Husky 16K slider hitch, me and one passenger. 3300 on rear axle, 4400 on front.

I just scaled my 17 again the other day at a Highway Patrol scale, 5440 on front axle, 3060 on the rear, 60 gallon aluminum transfer tank and pump full, fifth wheel hitch and onan quiet diesel 5.5k generator in the bed. I also scaled it last week with my 2018 Solitude 310GK 5er hooked up, 5460 on the front, 6600 on the rear and 10200 on the trailer axles with no water in the 5er. That weight will jump about 700 lbs when the water is added.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering why my front end is heavy, it is called a ranch hand bumper and 17k electric winch.

On my last weekend outing with the 5er, I hit the scales not knowing what my 32 foot Montana actually weighed. With a couple hundred pounds in the truck plus the PullRight slider had the truck right at 10,000 lbs. The Trailer axles came in at 8800 Lbs with the tanks empty. So my pin weight should be just under 2000 Lbs. Technically the truck is overweight by 800 Lbs, although I'm way under the 22,000 total weight limit. Guess I need shift cargo into back of trailer to get the pin weight lighter.

So your pin weight is 3600lbs?

I have to state the secondary fuel tanks on both trucks. When scaled the dually had approx 160 gallons and the one on the trailer about 80 gallons.

Mine in signature weighs 8360 without me, I weight 275, REESE 16k 5th wheel hitch, RDS 60 gallon aux/tool box combo with about 30 gallons in it and about 20 gallons in the main tank.
Top it off with Estang Hard Folding tonneau cover.

I went across a waste disposal scale in CA the other day in my 2017 with the 5th wheel hitch in the bed, full tank of 60 gallons in aux tank, onan quiet diesel, my wife and my little dog. The dog only weighs about 12 lbs, the wife, under 200, and me 210. The scale showed 10,200. That seems a bit high. Hitched up to the 5er with gear for a two week stay in CA, but not knowing that 90 gallons of water leaked out. 5600 front axle, 7500 rear axle, 10,800 trailer axles. The 90 gallons of water should have added 800 lbs to the trailer axles and removed some weight from the rear axle of the truck, but I drove that way until I could add water in Salt Lake City.

Well I can tell you my 2019 Dually weighs 300 pounds more than my 2016 Dually did. My 2019 with fifth wheel hitch in Two of us in the truck with a full tank of fuel weighed in at 9,350 lbs. same set up as my 2016 as far as the hitch goes.

I am a full-time RVer and this is messing me up for wanting to put an Exter fuel tank in.

I am shocked at the weight of these new trucks compared to my 87. That 2019 is pulling almost 4K more than me...that is 2 extra tons being hauled around before you start loading it up.

More toys and goodies, bigger truck-cab, box, frame etc. more sound deadener, it all adds up- Quickly! LOL

My 2005 weighs 7150 wet.

I just weighed mine. 7100 full of fuel.

9100 #’s, stock except for a 3/4” rubber mat in the bed, one size larger than stock tires, air bag suspension, 185 #’s for me, and 3/4 tank of fuel.

Same truck 16, CCSB, 4x4, and I scaled it being at 8000lbs with a full tank.
