Receiver and Hitch Locks (Keyed Alike)

I used to have a 05' Duramax with the 2" receiver so it was very easy to find a stainless receiver and hitch lock (keyed alike). Well now I have the 15' Duramax and it is hell trying to find a 2.5" set. Have any of you been able to find a keyed alike Stainless Steel or even not SS set?

Thanks

Don't they make locks that set to truck key?

Yes, they do. I found these:
— BOLT Locks by Strattec
It says, "Fits Class 3, 4 and 5 Hitches (2-2.5″ square receiver)" I'm going to order them and report back

Why do you need to lock the receiver? I've only needed locks if I have to leave a trailer, and lock it. Just pull the receiver when not using it.

Never know when you may have to leave the whole rig parked somewhere.

And you're worried about someone taking the receiver? If if is that bad an area I'd be more worried about them stealing the trailer or truck!

I lived in Spokane 20yrs ago and lost my tailgate in the mall parking lot and I guy I worked with lost his airbag. In Boise a couple years ago my father in law came out and started his motor home to get ready to go on a trip and someone cut out both his cats. There's no end to what low life's will steel.

I started locking mine 30 years ago after someone decided they needed it more than I do. I leave the hitch in all the time as it acts as a first line of defense against rear end hits - and trust me, it has been hit MANY times over the years. The one in one of my S10 work trucks got hit so hard, the hitch was nearly dragging on the ground. Also took out the bumper and tailgate, but without it, would have got the rear fenders and bed as well.

I agree with tired farmer, I never leave mine in. Wacked my shin to many times, worried that the lock won't unlock when I need to change it for a different one because it is full of salt and grime, hell I even took the one out for the spare tire. I also wonder, does it do MORE damage when rear ended?
