Icon7 Installing OEM tow brake controller?

OK so I need help from the Dieselplace community!

I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax LT and I do not have the integrated OEM tow brake controller and would like to install the OEM part and keep the clean look and not have to install an aftermarket one. So I was thinking I could buy the Brake controller panel and the wiring that goes with it and once I have installed everything, I could take it to my local Chevy dealer and they could reprogram the computer so it will have the option in the Drivers Information Cluster and the computer would support the controller. Does anyone know if this will work or do I just have to go with an aftermarket controller. Thanks, Josh!

Can't be done. I did the " insight" by Hopkins when my dumb dealer failed to order my 2 trucks with the JL1 option.
