Max 5th wheel weight?

Anyone know what the max 5th wheel weight would be for towing with an 2001 chevy 2500hd 4x4 reg cab long bed with the 8.1/ allision? thanks..

legally? my fiver is 17,500 + 2500 w/ sea-doos in tow + 8000 for truck and 6 butts= 28,000. Some claim to tow way more than that too.
