Coil springs

Got the 255/65r18s on the Ram 2018 8" wheels, had to mod the brake line for clearance, now at full lock tire is just touching sway bar, since this is a 12-year-old van I thought new coils would be wise, anyone try the Husky sc20468's
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...442045&jsn=452

They list same coils for the 3500 as the 2500 which is what I have.

I am still on my original front coils at nearly 450,000 miles. Try a set of SumoSprings SSF-204-47 first. They are only around $80/pair and install is quick/easy.

Lifting it an inch or so probably won’t help with hitting the sway bar, the back spacing on the wheels is to much.
Try jacking the front up an inch and cycle the wheel and see if it still hits, that will tell you if lifting it will solve it.

I think the Husky SC20468 is suppose to be the a factory replacement spring. I know Husky makes some HD springs that will give like 1"-2" of lift but personally I would not run them.

I was thinking they were the the SD springs that lift your truck.

Are these vans designed to run on front bumpstops? Mine has only 35k miles with a 6.6. It rides on the bumpstop. Are there any springs out there that will provide enough lift to clear the bumpstops by few inches?

And is that part # you mentioned really a spring? Are they different than bumpstops?

Yes they ride on the bumpstops. The part # I listed is for replacement bumpstops that improve the ride, sway etc.

I ordered the front ones, never saw a system like this,(rides on the bumpstop) I've used Timbren in the rear a few times, once tried them in the front on a Dodge 4x4 even with the diesel they were too stiff, back in the garage, must need a plow in front for those.

Also check out part # SSR-205-47 for the rear.
