2008 LWB two foot high top, going to install toilet/shower sink would like a little extra space, Has anyone added 2-inch spacers to frame? steering or transmission issues.
I did 1.25". You will need to extend your fuel fill hose, raise your bumpers, and you will be on the edge of needing to extend your steering shaft (if you go 2"). You will also have to modify your fan shroud and do some reshaping of your power steering hose connections at the steering box. Loosen your radiator hoses, trans cooling lines, to allow them to rotate/shift a bit while you are at it. 2" is a lot, I'd recommend you consider less.
