Duramax LGH HP and Torque numbers

I believe my 2013 specs are:

Power: 260 hp at 3,100 rpm (LGH vans)
Torque: 525 lb-ft at 1,600 rpm (LGH vans)

I assume most of you have or had similar #'s.... I have read the van is de-tuned due to the trannny. I dont need a race car but would like better mileage and a little more power.
I'm thinking about this H&S Minimax 109003. Any input on this would be appreciated...

No. It is not a van specific tune, truck only. You will have issues, trust me.

You need to go EFILive and nothing but. Here is a list of a couple of the top rated guys and make sure you ask questions when you talk to them.

Kennedy Diesel, ATP Trucks, PPEI, DuramaxTuner.

They have said this before to van owners and they learned the hard way. You were probably talking to a sales person that has absolutely no clue the programs are different between vans and trucks.

I think (don't know) that the LGH is tuned based on what transmission is behind it. If it's the Allison, it'll have the higher power/torque numbers. If it's got the 6L90 behind it it'll be 260/525.

The H&S tuner worked on a 260/525 LGH

The LGH in the chassis cab trucks has a different OS than the LGH in the van.

Dredging up this old thread...Finally have my LGH running with an H&S XRT Pro tune, not many miles on it (about 15) but the two issues that I have with it seem to be van related.

1) Van's have an electric fuel pump at the tank to force feed the engine. I can go in with a scanner and force this to turn on, but the ECU won't turn it on by itself. Guessing that since LML trucks don't have this, that is why it's not enabled in the tune.

2) No response to A/C commands from the BCM. Again, I can force the ECM to turn on the A/C Clutch, but it will not listen to the command from the BCM anymore.

I've verified that both of these issues do not exist on a stock 2012 LGH so I'm pretty confident that they'e tune related.

What are my options for getting this tune updated? It appears that H&S is out of business so maybe I'm stuck with what I have or have to go a different tuning route?

I spoke with one shop who mentioned EFI Live, however that option wasn't able to compensate for tire/gear changes from stock.

What other options are out there since early 2013 when I bought this .

That is 100% tune related and that is why I told people not to buy it. That fuel pump is a prime pump that only runs with key on - engine off.

Sell the H&S and go with EFILive. Since you live in Wisconsin check out Kennedy Diesel in Loyal.
