2007.5 single wheel 8 foot bed to dually conversion

Hey guys, I'm thinking of converting a 2007.5 GMC 2500 4x4 into a dually, I have a couple of questions. First what year dually beds fit exactly to the 2007.5 cab? I have found a 2016 take off but not sure if the body lines are the same. Next is the axle wheel bolt flange distance the same on a dually axle as apposed to a single wheel axle? IE is it wider or narrower? I would bet the rear brakes are different on a dually axle? I think I would just have to install dually spacer adapters on the front correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Isspro turbo drive pressure gauge, Isspro IAT gauge. VDO boost, EGT and trans temp gauges.

95 Dodge 3500 4x4 Cummins studded, towing turbo, injectors, cam plate, 3k gov springs, w/gearvendors O/D, 271 T case, built 46 RH trans with triple disc converter. Manual TC lockup switch on center console armrest, yee high.

06 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie 4x4 5.9 Cummins with auto trans, stock except exhaust.

the front adapters are bolt-on, you either need fairly significant spacers in the rear so the inner wheel doesn't touch the springs/frame, or you need to install a 'pickup' dually axle (wider than SRW axle). There is also the cab&chassis dually axle, which is narrower than both of the 'pickup' axles, which you don't want...

I don't know the brake stuff for GMT900s.

Can I just replace the bedsides with two of these to make a dually bed? I'm sure there would be some inner fender plastic and fasteners needed also.

So how many miles will a 2007.5 DMAX and ALLISON trans perform? I think I may have come out from under the either as my dear old dad would say. The truck I am thinking of buying and converting to a dually would be replacing the 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Cummins in my signature. I've been thinking why would I replace a 2006 5.9 Cummins Laramie that has 228000 miles and is way easier to work on with a DMax LTZ with 516000 miles? I have always been a chevy guy thats how I ended up with $50,000.00 in a 1994 Suburban. I know the GMC rides better but its not like I can get it for even $8000.00. So how many miles are the DMAXs good for IF well maintaned?
