Life Expectancy for a NEW GMC 3500 4x4 Dully

Hi all,

New to the group. I am looking to replace my 07 mega cab 3500 dully with a new truck. Thinking of getting a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali Crew Cab LB DRW 4WD. What kind of life span can I look to get out of this truck. Will be using it for 5th wheel RV and some goose neck haling but not for a living or much of it. Thanks, I also was looking at a 08 F550 with the 5.9 cums and the auto alli trans with 30k miles. I think the GMC will last longer just wanted some thoughts from people that know the GMC trucks. The GMC will cost me about 10 - 15k more. Will be putting about 50k miles a year on the truck about 1/3 of it haling a load at most.

I think you will be pleased with it. You will not have the nagging repairs that I know Dodges have. I put my 15 in service June 1st of 2015 and now have 54K on it. It sat the whole month of August and part of Dec and and will set about 2 weeks this month. Regens happen about every 800 miles. Factory tires are still good for at least another 20k
