Hey. I've done a bunch of searches and research on these tires. Haven't found many recent reviews. Wondering how the current owners feel after using the tires for several years. Thanks.
I have a set on my 04 and they ride nice and seem to be wearing well. I had coopers and nittos on it before and prefer the looks of those better. We haven’t had a day of snow this winter in Nj so l don’t know there performance but they look pretty mild mannered. I bought them slightly used for a great price, thats the only reason I bought them. Probably get coopers or nitto next time around mainly because of looks.
I ran a set on a previous truck for 8-10K miles, they rode well, got good traction in the little bit of snow they saw, seemed to be holding up well as far as wear, and they where stable towing a 30ft 7K LB bumper pull trailer with about 2K LB's of atv's in the bed. The only downside was that they held onto rocks pretty bad after driving on logging roads. I liked them well enough that I put a set on the truck I have now.
I have a set of LT275/65/20s on my 2017 2500. The tread wear I’ve gotten is phenomenal. They’ve worn very evenly. I have roughly 47,000 miles on them now and can easily run them another 10,000 miles. About 12,000 of those miles are towing. The tire has a very stiff side wall. The ride was noticeably bumpier with the Falkens when I replaced the stock Goodyear’s with them. But they still ride reasonably well for an E range tire on a 3/4 ton in my opinion. They are also pretty quiet. Off road they’ll do fine by most people but if you’re into serious mud and nastiness regularly they wouldn’t be the best out there. I spend a decent amount of time on forest roads in hunting season and they’ve done well there. They’ve held up to some decent beatings on the lesser maintained roads with no flats or punctures. Overall I’m happy with them. I do know a couple guys who ran non-LT A/T3Ws on their half tons. They didn’t get near the tread wear I did. I can’t speak to why. Just figured I’d mention it in the event you’re looking at a non-LT tire.
I run them on my daughter's Subaru Crosstrek. lol Pretty great non-LT AT tire for a small car, but without the extreme weight when compared to BFG's. No lift required on the Trek...very sure footed in the snow, rain, and gravel. She drives to several ski hills and has no worries. Good looking tire. I can't comment on the wear yet...only about 2,000 miles on them so far.
