Broken wheel spoke

Has anyone had those happen to them? Broke a wheel spoke on right rear wheel during a road trip, I’m assuming It was from the road construction because I can’t think of anything I knowingly hit. I have a short bed cab over camper on it during the break, so it was definitely heavy

Wow! First time I’ve ever seen or heard of an OEM wheel breaking like that. How much weight was on your rear axle?

Man...I can't imagine something hitting that without leaving a mark. The line is so clean looking. I had a a drum that came off a trailer in front of me a few years back and it put a dent in the wheel of my truck. But the spoke to be damaged like that is really weird. I don't think you bed weight would cause that either but it I would take that wheel off and look at the inside to see if anything is showing on the backside. I would also look at the other side wheels too.
