To help answer your question though I would say the 285/60/20 would fit no problem based on the specs comparing my 305/55 to the 285/60.

Good Year DuraTrac 285/ 60/ 20 look good on my Denali, no rub...but might have to take the mud flap off. (Snow / mud build up and can use extra clearance)

Any ride difference with being cranked up?

Dealership told me they prefer stock keys cranked up and then aligned on 305/55r20.

4x4 shop recommended new keys and 35s.

305/55/20 on stock rims fit fine on my 2017 without any cranks..plenty of room.

Slightly harsher
Wears the front end a little quicker.
Donít want to go up so you have any substantial CV angle.
305 is a safe size

Donít just do keys. Keys are 1/10th of the equation. If you throw new keys on and go 35s you will accomplish points 1 and 2 a hell of a lot quicker.

If you want bigger tires throw a legit lift on it.
