Southern trucks vs northern trucks

I'm looking at a 06 Duramax LBZ LT3 crew cab 135,000 miles
They are asking $23,000

The truck was originally sold in Florida and now it's in South Dakota, I'm in Minnesota.
Is there any difference between a truck sold in the south vs north? Like better corrosion resistant paints or block heaters.

All GM trucks have the same paint and corrosion protection from the factory.
All Duramax diesels are factory equipped with a block heater.

The advantage is less exposure to salt. Look under a 4 year old chevy at home, then look under a 4 year old Florida truck. Specifically, brake lines and fuel lines.

Hell, here in PA, a non-daily driver GM truck will need brake lines in five years, and that isn't by choice. They rot out.

The disadvantage to southern vehicles is typically more paint fade and more upholstery fade, due to more sun exposure, and heat.
