Finding Dealer Cost

I am beginning to talk to dealers about a new 2020 CC Dually. At one time it was not difficult to find actual dealer cost (which is no longer the so-called invoice cost). But now, that bit of knowledge is hard to come by, especially since I recently lost my dealership mole. So, does anyone out there have any insight on this? As nearly as I can figure, the dealer cost on a 75k vehicle is about 10% below the MSRP. Were the dealer to sell at that price, he would make the hold back, which is 3% of the MSRP, or $2250. Not good if he has had to have the vehicle on the lot for a while (which costs him interest on HIS loan), but not bad at all on an individual order that's off the transport and out the door. And there may be manufacturer incentives to him beyond the hold back. In any case, knowing the actual cost is a handy place to begin talking a deal.

I bought my truck for 55k and it was stickered at 70k, so I think its more than 10%. I did buy my truck through my work so I got a really good deal which I think was fleet cost.

Or perhaps put it this way: Ringneks got 21% below MSRP. I've never seen that. But some sites suggest that 12-13% is common. If you care to say, what did anyone else get. Of course, its going to depend on a variety of factors, such as end of model year clearance, etc.

I was told there is a 12k rebate on the trucks right now if you finance through gm, so not that far off from my deal.

I’m a member of GM family first. This is what is listed. 2 incentives.
Don’t see a 12k rebate.
2020’s the only incentive out right now.

I guess I should know better than to quote a salesman, but he did call it a rebate, not sure why. Sorry

One thing about GMs 0% financing (unless their rules have changed) you can actually borrow up to the MSRP, even though you are paying less than MSRP for the truck. This might be helpful for paying off other debt. When I bought my 07.5 via GM Family First, if i remember correctly, it was about 20% off the MSRP.
