drove 2020hd diesel

yesterday I was going to get parts at the local chevy dealer

as im getting out of my car,the salesman comes out and starts trying to sell me a truck,I say I only need a couple parts, and a brochure on the 2020hd trucks

he says sorry no brochures, but how would I like to drive one

so what am I supposed to do,

i said ok,and he hands me the keys to a 2020-2500hd diesel crew cab LTZ,,and off we go

truck was real quite, and barely sounded like a diesel, rode nice, had the camera for a rear-view inside mirror [went fuzzy when I sped up]

trans shifted nice, and it had 3.42 gears

I put 30 miles on it,and the only real complaint was its like 4'' higher then my 2013 2500hd diesel

and its $75,000

Thanks for the brief review!

All the diesels have 3.42 gears. Nice to hear that the trans shifted nice. I am not a fan of the truck being taller, but the load-in height of the bed is supposed to be 1” shorter than last years, so that is one good thing I guess.

They are about as tall as you can go and still fit in a seven foot garage door. They shorten the antenna height so it does not hit your garage door when going in and out.

do they have blocks under the rear axle mounts?
if so can I just drop the front and take out the blocks?

I crawled around under one today and there was a very small block, but Iím sure itís necessary for proper suspension operation. Even though looks arenít my primary concern, as tall as the stupid bodies are I think they would like pretty goofy if they were dropped a couple inches.
