Great White Unicorn Spotted!

Driving past the local GM dealer in Port Orchard, I saw my White Unicorn 2018 3500 CC/DRW/4x4 on the lot and on a whim dropped in to take a look.

Beautiful Truck! Still don't like the "upsweep" design on the rear door window reveal edge.. but other than that it was fully loaded, hood scoop etc.

With a sticker-price of $68,000+ I don't see any realistic way to afford one...ever...maybe a business lease?

How else do you afford one of these bad boys if you don't win the lottery, or make 1/4 million dollars a year?

Maybe its me, but the interior looked smaller than what I'm used to. This could just be because of the center console, but curious if anyone who has a newer one feels they are more cramped inside the cockpit?

I'd have to get one without a console...I'm too big of a guy and manspread - lol.. If I had one with a console..I'd feel like I was flying coach all the time.

It might be close to a reasonable price in 10 years...

I replaced my 06, I don't feel it is any more cramped and maybe even more leg room front & back? As far as affording, that is why it took me 12 years to be able to save a bunch for a down pmt

IDK, what was the sticker on that 98 in your signature? In 1998 dollars that 68k in today's money would be 44k in 1998 money. And then when you look at the performance and luxury it doesn't look to bad.

If I remember the 98 MSRP was around 24k the 2001 MSRP was around 32k

Single person with 1 income under 80k...that 2018 truck is not affordable, the 2001 version would have been.
