2018 changes

I've been wanting to buy a white 2500 Denali since I was told by a local dealer, that they should have one in on 11/7. Obviously there have been some hiccups with the truck's timely shipping, and needless to say, I still don't have one. I believe it was on here or another forum that a few guys have said they might as well wait for the 2018s to come out in June or July. I'm starting to wonder about doing the same thing. I could certainly drive halfway across the country to find the right truck, or just be patient, but if there are going to be significant changes to the 2018, I can wait. What does anyone know about the 2018? thanks

I wish they would do a facelift like the half-tons got in '16. But someone was saying '19-'20 all the trucks will get a new design.

I also heard 2020 for the major changes. Not sure if it's been confirmed or not.

?? This appears to be the first thread regarding any 2018 changes per my search. Sorry for trying to educate myself on the upcoming MY truck before I slap down $70k for a 2017 that might be obsolete in 4-6 months. To the other replies - thanks for sharing what you know.

How about offering some of the things that Ford offers. No option for rear seat heaters in a Denali? How uncivilized. What about some real color options in THEIR MOST EXPENSIVE TRUCK? Even if it was like a $5k COPO option, would be nice to have the option of anything that GM is offering for 2017. No White Diamond or White Frost option on the Denali HD is weak. Summit White is nice, but options, options, options. People will pay for them if offered. No motorized steps offered for the Denali HD? Weak. Ford has them. No option for nice 19.5" wheels on the dually? Weak. Ford has them. A fully loaded f450 Platinum crew cab stickers for $82k+, which is a lot for a truck, but at least they give you some options. Don't get me started on the GM towing numbers.........
