Past November dealer offered $16.5K trade in for my 2005 crew cab dmax with 140K. I turned down their offer and sold it private party for $18K. Bought a 2016 GMC LML crew cab, sticker was $65K, I paid $54K OTD.

I've been looking to trade my 12 denali dually with 101k on it. $31500 trade in was the best offer so far and they were taking $10k off the window sticker of the new truck (Laura Buick GMC). They beat my local dealer by $8k. Don't forget, it's not what you get for trade in thats important. It's all about the difference. They can make your trade look good if they're getting window sticker or close.

I just sold my 2010 4x4 duramax cc long bed ltz with 150k on it at the Dallas auto auction the Wednesday before Christmas for $26400. Mine was seriously mint though. I still thought that was crazy.. There was a 2008 cclb duramax LT that went through with 284k and sold for 20600 and it was a little rough I thought... good clean used diesel trucks bring good money in Texas.

I would suggest you use Kelly Blue book as trade in prices vary from location to location, plus the BB takes into consideration wear and tear and overall condition of the truck and what options it has.
