Just traded my 2011 2500 SRW LT, 40K miles on it and got 34K. Blue Blook was 39K trade and 39900 private party. One dealership was 29K. With the 10-12k off of the new ones dealer said that they arent paying blue book.

dmax3500 - pull the trigger what are you waiting for, it is only money.

Kelly BB is not accurate in Idaho and the Banks and Credit Unions won't use it. NADA is the most accurate and what the banks use up here.

2013 Sierra Crew Cab SRW LTZ 80,000 km. Dealer offered me 45.. but want 91 for a new l5p all terrain. Never even bothered trying to deal on that price. We get the **** end of the stick up here in Canada. I'll keep my LML for now...

I just looked my 2013 up on NADA, $46,850 as of today. I'm selling it in a year and buying a new 2018.......we'll see how much it is down by then.

Just took delivery

Hello Everyone,

I just traded in my 2015 3500 High Country (MSRP was 68,300). I had 13,800 miles. Owned since February 2016.

Purchased a 2016 3500 High Country. 0 down and $1,063 on my GM card(off the purchase of a new truck). (MSRP was $70,305).

Total financed was $48,100

This is my 10th new truck in 13 years. Never put $$ down. January - March are the best times to purchase.

There is currently a lot of inventory out there. I was tracking 21 different trucks.

This was the deal that made me pull the trigger.

Cant wait to get a 2017 next year!!! Big power increase for the 2017's.

How much equity did you have in your trade?

So to clarify:

Old truck(2015 Silverado High Country 3500) MSRP = $68,830
Owed $41,700

New Truck(2016 Silverado High Country 3500) MSRP = $70,305
$0 down, total financed was $48,100(Tax, tags, mics dealer fees)

On paper they made it look like I was given $52,000 for trade value.

2006 trade

06 lbz crew cab lt2 cloth bench seats 4x4 with 164k miles set up for fifth wheel.

Dent in tail gate abs light on. Besides that clean no rust. Got $15.5k on trade in. Not bad considering I paid $38k 10 years ago for it new.

Could have sold it out right for a little more but when you factory in the tax savings and time way easier to just trade it in.

Dealer was taking it to auction the next week.
