Bumping the key once could do that to, but that's not the way it's programmed.

Key bump works in both my '12 suburban and wife's '16 Traverse. Pretty much all the gasser remote starts. Even if you wait the key bump is a no go on the DMAX.

My wife wouldn't mind this a bit. Even though her last two cars have had the key bump feature she still holds it down in the start position until it's running.

I stole this pic from another tread....

That is the ugliest DEF crap tank. Worse than the current one I have. Whoever let this truck be designed with the tank in this position and the fill tube under the hood needs to be fired!

This is flat out DUMB!

Ok so not only did they take a look at the tank. They decided.... Hey let's make this thing a bigger freaking eye sore than it already was!

Agreed, dumb. I truly believe GM for some reason doesnt want to be a leader in Hd trucks. Seems like they always do something to stay a little behind in the refinement department.I'm sure this new powerplant will keep them competitve, but what about the details? I am just another loyalist who will be buying a new Denali knowing it doesnt have all the bells and whistles as the other 2. And yes I tow with my trucks, I work hard for my money and want it all, to all the haters that are going to say "you dont need all that stuff in a truck" Rant over

For all those that whined that 7500 miles wasn't far enough between fills

I didn't get no 7500 miles out of mine, I was lucky to go a full oil change when towing heavy. If the filler was by the fuel tank, and just dump some in every so often it wouldn't be a big deal. They make it a big deal by having the filler under the hood, and having to wait so long to fill it up.

I'm always dragging something around. I live out in the country so there is no keeping my truck clean.

The filler under the hood has never been a pain to fill for me, yeah the location of the tank is ugly but I believe Ford gave up fuel capacity where their tank is located.
