I test drove this one toady, put about 30 miles on it. Its a great truck and the engine and brakes definitely feel way better than my current truck. I don't know if its worth the payments that come along with it, but it sure is a nice truck. My 06 handles what I tow, but it would be real nice to upgrade.

L5P on Order but not in yet

This is my first post since joining this forum. I don't have a diesel truck yet but own a diesel backhoe. I DO have a 2017 2500HD on order though. I currently own a few gassers including a 1955 Chevy 3100 with a 407 SBC and 4 Speed, a 1966 Ford F-150 with a 302, a 2015 Chevy 2500HD DC/SB 6.0L, and a 2016 Colorado EC/SB 6 Speed Manual. I am actually more excited about my L5P Duramax CC/SB High Country, that I don't have yet, than I ever was for any of the others. Admittedly I had to build a couple of those but I enjoy that kind of work. What sold me was pulling Bozeman Pass this summer a few times pulling a trailer with a camper on board and doing 35 MPH and getting 2 MPG going up that pass. I only got 6 MPG from Oregon to Duluth. I'm hoping to do much better with the Duramax. Does anyone have a 2017 Duramax yet?

WOW! Two months seems like a long time from build date to delivery.
