0% FINANCING... (Ford Only??)

Sorry to get you excited, but 0% seems to be a Ford only thing as of this posting.

GM ARE YOU LISTENING???

I need another truck for my business...and will be buying a Ford in a week or so on their 0% program, along with $1100 back to boot. Got a $750 coupon in the mail, which the dealer says is compatible with 0% and the $1100 cash back, so I'll see $1850 + 0% for 36 months...

GM offers $500, plus bring your own financing.... (5-6% at best)
Or 3.9 for 36 months, no cash back.

I'm keeping my 2006 GMC 2500HD, just adding to the fleet.

</ end rant session>

They are doing the 0% on the furds because no one is buying them. Buy one and the money you save on the interest you can use to keep it running. Sorry to be the thorn, but someone had to do it..

Well, I have been checking local lots with the "find a chevy" feature around Dallas, and they are not moving very fast in these parts. I have been looking for about six weeks now. They are going to have to start doing something because people are buying Fords and Dodges as those brands are discounting pretty heavily. You have to realise that we may read a lot and know the advantages, but a good majority of the public does not. They are going to where they see the grass as being greener...

Still not $1850 + 0%... On financing approx $42,000 the 3.9 is approx 2600 interest.

My business blows through these $50k trucks every year, so every bit of savings helps!

Warranty covers the engine till 100k miles on both brands. I admit the 6.0 PSD might not be as bulletproof as the DMax, but we usually turn our trucks at 120k miles or so, which usually takes about 12 months or so.

...but if the truck is in the shop 1 week out of the month, is that 2600 dollar savings worth it?
