Might be cheesy, but I got it today! Already painted and getting cleared tomorrow and I will put it on Saturday or maybe even tomorrow night depending on my painter's clear mixing skills and the humidity...lol! I absolutely love it! I have always hated the valley and humps on my original hood and the fact that the morning dew blows back at me when hitting the brakes! Finished pics to folllow....

Are you repainting the whole hood! Why not just the chrome piece?

I just picked up a new 2017 style hood that came in a box with black primer. We are painting it white to match my truck. The pic with the chrome scoop molding sitting on top of my original 2016 hood is for reference.

Did you also install all the internal pieces or does the scoop just blow under the hood?

As of right now, I made and epoxied a "block off" to the scoop. I haven't had time to research what would be required to make it functional. I'm in the RV business and here in Florida my season is in full swing and I have a tight schedule to get our NASCAR customers ready for Daytona! So this is far as I can go for a while. It will be "functional" as soon as I can get back to it
