At first I figured that was just an artist rendering, not an actual GM photo. But after reading the article it says the photo is from GM. I think it looks great! I hope they still have stacked headlights on the LT and WT trucks, that's one thing I've always loved about the Silverado, separate bulbs for high and low beams. I'm really excited to see what the HD version is going to look like!

I want to see it in person before I make my decision. I know when Chevy changed body style in '7.5 I was not impressed with the pics. After seeing it in person I liked it a lot better. I like some of the styling of the front end, not happy with the low ground clearance but I know they are doing that for MPG and safety...will have to see what it does for me when I see it in real life!

It would be nice if they could get an 8-speed allison in the HD truck for 2016 or 17...

Looks are OK but my thought is with the fuel economy. If the new HD can get better fuel mileage than my LB7, I might think about getting one. My wife wants me to get a new truck, I told her to find me a 2500HD that gets 20+ MPG and I will.

I hope they don't. It will just make the tranny "busier". It's one thing for a 1/2 ton "office" truck that is much lighter and never gets worked, but for an HD truck I don't think it's a good idea. The gear spread is nice right now which means the extra gears will be more overdrives than anything and that means they won't be able to use them most of the time due to hauling and towing.

I think it looks great, but I don't like a lot of crome.

I like the 15 better but theres about 60,000 reasons why it doesnt matter what I think.
