2015 GMC denali 3500 front emblem

I received my 2015 on 4-18 and when I received it the chrome on the grille was very badly wrinkled down one whole side. The dealership was very prompt on getting a replacement and had it fixed within a week. The grille was fixed but in the process my front GMC emblem was broken when switching from one grille to the other. They have been trying for 2 weeks to order it but they cant order it without a part number. I know there are some guys that have been able to get part numbers for the '15 emblems on here. Would anyone by chance have access to a part number for the front GMC emblem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

How is it that a GM dealer can't find a part # for a part that GM makes I'd try a different dealer, sounds like the dealer your dealing with are a bunch of idiots

GM hasnt given them the part number yet since these trucks are '15s. Ive checked several dealerships and all say the same thing.

I was pretty pissed. I had only had it for a week so I didnt know every inch like I do now. When it came out of service I was looking at the grille with the service writer and he touched the emblem and it was loose. I was like what the hell I know it wasnt like that because I had washed it several times already. When we compared the grilles we realized that the tech left the black molding (that the emblem sits in) on the old grille. So my service writer went off on the tech in front of everyone just to find out that he didnt switch the black piece because he broke the clips off the emblem. Jerk... as mad as I was I at least knew they would make it right. Its been 2 weeks and still no part # and I just cant stand riding around in a $66k vehicle with an emblem flapping in the wind any more.

I almost would rather have the wrinkled chrome on the grille.

I have been in a couple of dealers and on the phone with a few more trying to get the wood grain trim I want on my truck. Each dealer had a different response, some had data for the 15 trucks and some had data for the 15 Tahoes and some had no clue. I got a print out of several different part numbers from one dealer, but the wording was so vague you could not tell which was which.

The only way I could confirm was to find a VIN number of a crew cab with the color trim I wanted. Seemed like the long way around.

Nevertheless, I can tell you that Midway Chevrolet has the 2015 Silverado information in their database, but that may not help with the GMC part. Their number is 1-866-761-8498.

It was a loooooonnnnnnnnggggg time ago but Midway had the best Chevrolet parts department that I ever did business with. Back then they all knew the parts like the back of their hands. I think it was 77 or 78 and I was building a err 396+ and was looking for the "cam" I checked around and a guy said to call them about what I wanted and they had a L-88 cam and lifters in stock about 1/2 the price of the aftermarket parts, best $100.00 I ever spent on my Chevelle.

Do they not have another one on their lot they can take off and put it on yours? Hope you get it fixed soon, that would bug the crap out of me.
