My 2015 sub par paint job?

I've now had my 2015 for about a month now and just got around to waxing it yesterday. I was happy with it up until yesterday... I noticed many flaws with the paint. In several areas it looks like there are particles stuck under the clear coat. The most severe example is on the tailgate which you can see in the picture. Also in the lower left side of the tailgate it looks like the clear coat dripped down and as I was waxing it the "drip" chipped off which you can see in the picture. I'm curious to see what you guy's think and are seeing on your new trucks. I don't remember having these kinds of flaws on my 2005. I don't know what to do about it. I feel like the paint job is lacking. Also, the metal painted front bumper.... In 1,000 miles I already have 6 stone chips in it. I can only imagine how it's going to look at 50,000 miles.

Can you take a picture of the area from further back for reference? I'm having a hard time registering on what I'm looking at.

It's really hard to capture, or maybe I'm just horrible at taking pictures. The spot on the tailgate (the part where it looks and feels like there is dirt or something caught under the clear coat is the most extreme but there are spots like that all over the truck.

Although the tailgate is certainly the worst.... There are MANY other areas that have issues as well. I just don't know what to do :-(.

Looks like they really laid on the clear. Body shop will probably wet sand and buff out the runs in the clear... Get her fixed up, those flaws will bother you every time you look at the truck.

If it was me I would definitely go have the dealer take care of it. After reading this I went out and looked hard at mine. Im not seeing anything. If I did I would be at the dealership first thing in the morning.

The paint on my 05 is was far from great when I got it, part of the roof didnt have enough color coat and the color is very thin in other spots.
I would ask the Service manager to look at it and then ask them to bring a GMC rep in to see it. After that ask them what they plan to do to fix it.

IIRC you got it at Lafontaines, as big as they are they should be able to influence GM to fix it.

Yeah, that picture helped me figure out where I was looking at. My experience with Lafontaine has been mixed, but that's where I would start. I would take some masking tape and mark every spot, then take it in.
