2015 Wood Grain Trim

I am trying to get the darker brown wood grain trim as a replacement to my carbon (silver) trim that came in my cocoa dune interior. It looks pretty sorry if you ask me with that interior color.

Anyway, I have talked to two dealers and neither was able to confirm the actual name or color of the wood grain that is offered and there appear to be several options. They said if I could get the last 8 digits of the VIN for a truck with the wood grain I want, they would be able to confirm it.

None of the trucks I looked at the dealers had the right trim, they were all the carbon. I found some double cab 1/2 tons, but the rear pieces don't match right. The pieces are about $60 each (8 total), so I don't want to guess.

I was wondering if any of you had the wood grain in your trucks and could PM me the VIN information, so I could get the right parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This is what the wood grain looks like in my Tahoe, I want to match it, but they had no 2015 Tahoe information available.

That's the best deal I've had in years. I will take you up on the offer.

Do you know if yours will be the lighter (spalted maple) tan color or the medium brown like in the photos? I noticed the GMCs have some different color combos too.

Do your pieces match the trim around the touch screen?

That is very nice and a little different than the Chevy. Is that a dark brown or grayish color?

Mine is similar to the bezel around the touch screen, but it is more like the guage face on the Z71 package, as it has a subtle diamond cross hatch pattern. Not sure if that applies to your Denali. It looks real nice on the guage faces, but I don't like it with the brown interior.

I'll get some pictures.

LMMKING, You should take a look at WOLFN8TR's DIY on losing the wood and changing to Carbon Fiber. Follow this link to read the DIY
He did a fantastic job. I looked at it while I was helping him put in a TransGo Jr. It looks factory. The job he did was near perfect!!

Nothing looks worse than a bad carbon fiber job, other than fake carbon fiber, especially with a heavy weave.

He did a very nice job with the work. I like the paint better.

They make a lot of other patterns in that tape, but taping up a $64k truck seems a little ghetto to me. Lots of curves and bends in this trim, it would be hard to do without seams or wrinkles.

Good looking black Denali.

I have noticed that colors in GMs pictures on the website are different that what you see in reality. Hard to say what you like unto you actually see it in person.
