GMC compared to Chevrolet

I am not sure where to put this post, so please relocate if needed.

My question is, what are the differences between a 2013 Chevrolet 3500 LTZ and a 2013 GMC 3500 Denali.

My new Denali seems quieter and more responsive(steering, brake, acceleration) than my 2011 Silverado 3500 was. The most significant difference is the decrease in road noise.

Am I imagining things, or is there something different?

Thanks,

I think the Denali trim level might have a more extensive sound deadening treatment.

In terms of marketing, GM intends for Denali to be between Chevrolet & Cadillac.

If this is true, it would explain a lot.

I don't have a 3500 LTZ to compare my Denali to, but I do have a 2013 LTZ Tahoe parked in the driveway.
I think that most of the differences can be found in the interior. Denali has leather on the upper and grab handle of the door panels, better quality leather on the console lid. There's the different color wood trim- the LTZ has an orange tint to it, where the Denali is much darker. There's wood trim on the steering wheel, and wood trim around the console lid release. That's about it. I'd like to take a peek at an Escalade to see what, if any, upgrades there are over the Denali.

I should also add- Denali has chrome trim rings around speaker grills and dash gauges.

I think the heated steering wheel and or cooled seat was only in the Denali one or the other, but don't quote me on that. Heated washer fluid maybe, and different type of leather seats?

I Too heard the insulation/sound deadening was increased.

My new Denali is much quieter than my 2009 LMM (2500 HD)

I love the heated steering wheel. Looking forward to trying out the cooled seat this summer.

FWIW, My LTZ Tahoe has heated steering wheel and cooled seats. I know of a LTZ 3500 HD here on DP that has those options too.

not bad....the wood front is what I think keeps it from "feeling" really warm as the wood part isn't heated.

My Father has a Dodge Caravan, the steering wheel is all leather, no wood grain. That wheel gets very warm.
