The leather smells different. My 2011 LTZ with the black leather did not have that "leather smell". More like a chemical smell.

My new Denali has the light colored leather. Smells very much like leather. Maybe it was just me.

Does anyone have a 2013 GMC 3500 Denali sales brochure that would be willing to mail to me. I would like to see what the exact options are/were.

I asked my dealer for a 2014 but they are out and do not know if they will be getting more, as the 2015 are on the lots now.

Now that you mention it, I thought the same thing.

The Denali has a little different seat, 4 way lumbar support and 2 way on the Chevy. From what the dealer told me, Also one more speaker in the system "I think" I have the 2013 brochure from the gmc dealer at home, will need to check, Dont want to send you the whole thing, but I can copy some pages if you would like.

Difference between the GMC fully optioned SLT and Denali were minimal. Wood like trim around center instrument panel, Wood like trim on steering wheel, center console different(with wood like trim). A few other minor trim bits but not a great deal.
Seats are the same heat, lumbar, etc
Grain on the leather might be a little different

Moved to new vehicle info...

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure he was wrong, but at the dealership the other day, the guy tried to tell me the 2015 HD Denali's had and option for a HUD. He didn't think it was available on the LTZ. I forgot to have him check on that when we sat down to spec out a Chevy...

I think he's wrong...The front collision warning on both trucks does show up similar to an HUD system though...It popped up on my LTZ. Maybe that is what he was thinking about.

My biggest reason for buying a Chevy over GMC is the grill is wider on the Chevy. Cooling ability becomes a major concern with a high mileage truck.

I'd go for a GMC since the dealer is 2 miles from me. The Chevrolet dealer is 12 miles away and you have to drive thru FSU territory to get there and that is a zoo 24 hrs a day.
