Unless it's what the WANT. I went with the '15 for my Mom, since it now has the option of Adaptive Cruise. Since she just got in a crash and totaled her '12, I figure it's well worth it. All she got was a broken right ankle!

That is a serious wreck, glad your mom is ok.

Physics is one reason I drive big stuff, towing and room are others. The Tahoe has filled those roles nicely.

I like the safety features in the new Tahoe. I haven't decide on the adaptive cruise. Most of my wife's miles come in town, we do get some road trips in fir vacations, but it probably represents less than 15 percent if total miles.

Soon I will have one at a discount. Keep the assembly lines moving GM....the Mexicans and Canadians need jobs and I need a deep discount.

Rear of a set of doubles hauling oranges. She didn't realize until the last second that he was stopped for road construction ahead.

I am in the market for the Yukon XL Denali AWD. I priced a 2015 at 76K!!! went and priced a 2014 (Apples to Apples) and it was 68K. Where in the hell is 8K for the same thing (yes I realize the Updates). They are going to need some serious rebates to offset these mark ups. The HD's did not see an increase like this.

Also, Who in their right mind would spend 68K on a Tahoe???? I do not see it........

I wonder if it is the influence of Washington to make these so ridiculously priced that they do not sell. This way we can save the planet because of this Global Warming BS...........These prices do not make sense???

Ouch! That plastic Denali badging is worth another $6k?

I will say the materials and interior comfort in the 2015 is considerably nicer than the last model. That's the primary reason I haven't upgraded until now.

Start your OWN company, and build them for less. Be part of the solution.

The difference in prices you saw was in the rebates and discounts they are offering to clear out the 2014 and not offering on the 2015. If you compared MSRP vs MSRP, the difference won't be near as much.
