Yes, that is the style I'm looking for...4" oval or round curved end in black. Rapter has this style as 'oem', but they aren't sure yet if they fit a 2015. They fit a 2014 lmm...just working on the 2015 fix. Hopefully either will mount on the frame. I just ordered a 2015 3500 SRW SLE, so the wait is on.
Just lining up all the upgrades to do when it arrives.

I just had a local vendor tell me the 4" Raptor would work. I am not sure I buy it, cause most vendors and mfgs say no. I guess you could roll the dice and hope it works. Worst you are out is return shipping which could be plenty due to the size.

I was under my truck today and there are several predrilled holes in the rocker panels that appear to be used for the boards, but they look flimsy as hell. There are also predrilled holed in the inside body panels some with threaded inserts and some without. I think the GM steps will utilize this configuration vs a frame mount. The way they work on my 15 Tahoe is the go further up and bolt to the inside wall of the body. Pretty stout mounts on that rig with full cab length boards.

I am about to buy a couple sets of the 5" bars from Steelcraft or Ionic in black and take them to a fab shop and have them weld them together so I can get a wheel to wheel option.

I broke down and ordered some GM cab length side steps from ShopChevyParts.com. One thing about the GM steps is that they step surfaces match the surface on the rear bumper in terms of design and pattern if that matters to you. Some of the boards are pretty aggressive and the step area sits higher on top of the board, which maybe doesn't look as clean. I need something, cause I am going to lift my truck in the next two weeks and decided I couldn't wait on something else to show up.

Steelcraft got back to me and told me about 4 weeks+ for their side steps to be released with the new mounting brackets for the 15s. The basically said that testing and fitting would be complete in a week and mfg of the brackets in 2-3 weeks.

The customer service rep was very good about getting back to me and said she would continue to update me with availability. I like their products and customer service appears to be good.

I still haven't heard anything from ICI and I offered them my truck since they are local. They basically said they were too busy and didn't know when they would get to them, but they would have their engineer contact me.

Also, I did not hear from Iconic either. Never got to talk with anyone, just left a message asking for more information.
