2500 vs 3500 options

Are there any major differences in available options between the 2500 and 3500 trucks?

I am looking at a GMC SLT Crew Cab so I don't need info on WT, SLE, or Denali

Are the side curtain airbags available on the 3500s?

Wheel sizes?

I messed around a little on the GMC site - but figured I might be able to find out this info faster from you guys

From what dealer told me... the rear spring pack is the only difference...

thats all that i know is the difference. same with the other 2 brands also. not like back in the 70s/80s when the 3/4 ton had either a 10bolt/44front and the 1 ton had a dana 60 front.

You could have carried the same load with a HD2500 with air bags and had a better riding truck 99% of the time....

I think alot of people rely on air bags to carry a load that their truck is not rated for... have a failure and you are in trouble in a hurry... bags for leveling for me...not lifting...

Cant order 20" wheels on 3500, and the registration on a 3500 in mn is 125$ vs appr. 450$ the first year on a 2500.

on 3500 crew cab short beds dealer told me the 3500s have 5 ft shorter turning radius, also 17000 tow capacity rather the 2500s have 17200
