Did you have to remove urea tank to install brackets?

no I did not have to remove tank

It was tight but duable

I had to modify the bracket were the def tank is

welded 3/8 x 1" steel bar to bracket and then cut the back part of the original bracket off

Worked fine and is solid when I step on

They look really good! I have them on my 01 and at the time they were the only ones that really worked. Plus they look good. Mine are black also which is nice against the Summit White.

Of course you can't beat black on black!
