Is the LML an inhouse design?

I'd love to see the lower displacement engine reappear. I'd love to have a light duty truck with a diesel...

Haha, exactly. Drives me nuts! If my Jeep Cherokee could have come with the 2.5(ish) liter diesel they had in the UK (and maybe some of Canada), I'd probably still own it...

I'd love to see them come out with that 4.5 in the 1/2 ton. I think we could tweak it into an absolute screamer of a drag truck.

Word is that it will be a larger version of the 4.5L Duramax. I guess it will be the 6.9L U-Max.

x2, Can't seem to find any information at all to confirm, but I could have sworn I read somewhere that the 4.5L and the next U-Max would share components to keep costs down and spread it out over 2 engines? I'd say the 6.9 won't be out til around 2014 or so? Chris
