To make this meaningful, I suggest that prices be listed BEFORE taxes and license. These differ depending on location.
Even so, trade ins will tend to muddy the waters some.

I always negotiate a % or $$ amount over invoice. So without listing all the options and details...currently there is a $1500 rebate...I paid $1500 over invoice, took the rebate (instead of the 4.9% APR) and got the dealer to throw in the 3" side steps...so without the steps I would have paid invoice...but since I got the steps thrown in I say that I paid $400 UNDER INVOICE.

Yea, I took the 4.9 in lieu of the $1500 rebate, but I got $500 dealer cash, and a $500 Lowes gift card.

So, I guess in reality my pre tax was $48121.60

What's the $500 dealer cash? And how did you get a $500 Lowes gift card?

He said they usually dont do it, but it's there.(they just add it to the down payment)

Most salesman don't admit it

The $500 gift card is a GM buisness deal, this is my 2nd one for Lowes, and I had a $500 one for Best Buy on my 08

Hmmm..."GM business deal"...so this is an unpublished incentive? Is this only offered or given to certain type of buyers?
