Factory Status?

I am in the process of trying to find a LMM 3500 that is loaded. The dealers can't seem to find one. They are telling me if I order one it would have to be a 08 as the dealers have stopped build outs on the 07's. Is this true? Any changes coming to address anything for 08?

SInce your location is blank, it is hard for one of us to refer you to someone that may have one. However, I've heard several people say they can't order an 07 so that is probably true.

Initially, I had a really hard time finding my loaded 3500HD, but with determination and dedication I found several throughout Florida. (This was in the beginning of may). What exactly do you mean by "loaded". For Example, I wanted 4x4, Crew Cab, Long Bed, SRW, Diesel, LTZ, Nav, Rear DVD, rear park assist. I wanted a Z71, but I couldn't find one at a dealer that would work with me on price. So in the end, I decided that Z71 wasn't worth the extra $1500 it would have cost me. Other options like a sunroof, integrated trailer brake controller, power sliding rear window are available...

Have a dealer of your choice do a locate and ask them to expand the mileage range. They usually pick 100-200 miles, have them go 500 miles out...

Good luck!!

I added my location now. The options I am looking for is SRW, Nav, Sunroof and Brake controller on a LTZ and I have narrowed it down to 3 colors. And they have had try going 300 miles out from the dealer i know that. I just want to find one with all the options I want.

There are 2 black ones at a local dealer that have most of those options.
I can get a number if you're serious

Isn't the Z71 option only about 250$.
On the SUV (and those are nice Z upgrades) you get WAY more and it's about 1500-2500$.

The Z71 option is $600 for the LT1 and LT2 and $275 for the LTZ. It is less for the LTZ because it has the locking diff as standard. The $1500 that Dakster was talking about is because he couldn't get a good deal at the dealer that had the Z71.

That's right. I've never really looked at the LT1 & 2. Good catch.
