Need Advice New Purchase

Last weekend I went out to look at trucks and I LOVE the GMC 2500HD!
If it works out this will be my first diesel!

I spoke with the dealer and he told me he would sell me a truck at invoice plus $200.

I told him what I wanted and he called me with a price, but when I spec'd the truck on KBB.com it came in almost $1200.00 less than the dealer's quote.

How can I know if the price the dealer gave me is really the invoice price?

I will be going back tomorrow, so any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

KKB.com is right on the invoice price. I verified this w/ the actual invoice of my order. I think there still may be 1000 cash incentive, but this will come off AFTER total price and tax, so he looks like he is including this. If he were to sell you at true 200 above invoice (very good price) the 1000 back would put you @ 800 below. I would not pay more than 500 over true invoice with or w/o any cash back. If the 1000 back is still in effect, the truck can be had for 500 below invoice net price. Hope this helps and good luck.

Tell him to go to the sales manager and pull the invoice for you to see.
That would be my move. That is a good deal 200.00 over invoice.

KBB may not be showing the freight charge ($900) that your dealer is adding in.

Yea, some dealers include this stupid advertising fee in "dealer invoice". Tell them to strip it out or you'll keep shopping.
