Boost tube clamp

Anybody bust a boost tube clamp?

The owner of the Dmax Store (Mike) was on his way to go camping with his family out in the mountains of Northern CA, ended up seeing a L5P stranded on the side of the road. Pulled over to lend some assistance (the gentleman was stuck there with his 2 daughters and no cell service). Turns out the clamp on the lower boost tube broke. Mike was able to throw a hose clamp on, and get him back on the road...

Beautiful truck, he was lucky a fellow duramax aficionado was there to save the day.

2nd one Ive heard about. The OEM clamp may not be up to the task. Best advice for L5P owners is to buy a spare just in case.

Good idea. Better to be have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.
