They are starting to arrive at dealer lots here in Ontario Canada, checked on out on this past Saturday. It was sold already so couldn't test drive it but sure liked some of the new features such as the tailgate, mirrors and larger box room.. They have another that will arrive in days that I priced trading my 2017 Denali in on for the new 2020 Denali Ultimate pkg... found out GM hasn't initiated any of the Incentive Deals on them yet so makes it out of reach until they do. Without incentives they wanted $38,000 difference on the 2017 with 40,000 kilometers on it. Expect it will be around $10,000 difference with the Company Incentives & Costco etc, dealer says they expect the incentive announcements in the next few weeks and will call then.

@speedster100
Would it be possible that you can check out the Frame on a certain spot. You could scratch with your finger nail and see if the frames have now a paintjob underneath the wax dip. That would be awesome. Because if so then im also trading my 2018 Dually to get the 2020 Dually.
Thanks and cheers

Hey @ all
is there not anyone who has an clear answer about the frames from the HDs 2020.
Are they powdercoated or paintcoated and waxdipped or still like the 2018 2019 models
only waxdipped?
cheers

They've been wax dipped at least since 2001.

You would think MOTORTREND would do there there homework as posted in Post #18
“The corrosion protection is also improved to outlast the typical 12-year ownership period, with the primed and painted frame being dipped in a new wax-based material and with key fasteners getting new coatings that prevent corrosion where they join parts”

Hey @ all
i could not wait so i just went today to a dealer and checked out a GMC and a Silverado 2020. Unfortunatly only a HD 2500 but at least a HD. Here are the results in pictures.

As you can see on the pictures there is no primer paintwork e-coating or powdercoating underneath the waxdipp. I scrached with my fingernail right onto the pur metall of the frame.
I just wanted to share that information with everyone.
cheers

Just picked up my 2020 GMC Denali a week ago today. So fat 550 miles just perfect better mpg's that the 2018 F250 6.7 Platty I had nightmares with!

LOL a note to those that care--2020 has moved to the PF 26 oil filter. Found that out Saturday when I went in to my Chevy Dealer to have my oil and filter installed. Ordered the wrong Amsoil filter should be a EA 011 thought since the engine was I thought unchanged since 19---not.

Love being back in a GM now that the DEF Tank issue has been resolved!! Does not hang down any longer!
