l5p stumbles??

New 3500 Denali bought new about 2 months ago.
It has 1800 miles on it.
while getting on the freeway at 35-45 mph relatively light acceleration truck stumbles I cant tell if its engine or trans caused. Kind of feels like it runs out of fuel or it doesn't know what gear to be in. Its so fast and so infrequent that that I'm not really paying attention then its back to normal.
It has done it 3 times. about 300 miles 700 miles and today at 1800 miles,
I have towed heavy and love it, no problem other than those 3 times. It was empty and warm when it happened.
Any insight?
Thanks

Mine does the same thing, 35-50 mph, light acceleration, usually before it's fully warmed up. Thought it was torque converter lockup issues, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Haven't had it looked at yet because it's very hard to reproduce and don't want dealer sitting on it for weeks.

truck is still new/learning things

try pushing the throttle harder,or put the truck in ''tow-haul'' mode, and see if its different

Mine isn't new. 14,000 miles, and still does it in tow/haul, just not quite as bad because the engine isn't lugged as much.

Mine does this occasionally as well. Feels like its running out of fuel for a second and then it clears up. The first 2 times it was during the winter, so I thought maybe it was a fuel gelling problem, but it has happened since the weather turned warmer so its definitely something else. Luckily it hasn't done this while pulling anything heavy.

Just came home to Nj from my camp in Maine towing a 3500lb tractor on a 16 landscape trailer in heavy rain with lots of accidents and wildly varying speeds. The transmission seemed very confused (in tow haul mode). I have 10,000 miles with all the latest updates. Complaining to the dealer is useless.

Mine was doing the same, light acceleration between 1300 and 1700rpm. It was also idling off every now and again, not rough, but sounded odd. Took it in and the dealer found it was logging misfires on #3, #5, and #7. No check engine light was on. They changed the 3 injectors and it was running much better with more torque down low but after 2,000km it is starting to do it again. I have it booked back in for Monday to see if it has logged more misfires and if there are more bad injectors. Not off to a good start with this truck.

mine did thisas well. Got a new #5 injector at 4k miles. put 3k miles on it towing to az and Utah. Have not noticed it since. Before the injector towing was down on power. Now seems to be better. Down in Az it flap ripped.... I live at 8500' and there is definetly a difference.

Mine stumbled/shuttered yesterday while accelerating onto the interstate. No CEL, so will just wait to see if it does it again.

I have to wonder if the TCS isn't kicking in? Since you're in the meat of the torque curve, and most likely, on the OEM tires, wheel spin is most probable. Can you try the the same scenario with the TCS off?
IMHO, The OEM tires sacrifice traction for treadlife.
As an aside, my LMMs will wheel spin at 40mph, with light throttle, on stock tires, with a trailer in tow.
