Anyone using H&S fuel filter housing?

Ok so I just replaced my fuel filter for the first time “myself”. I may have stripped out the plastic drain plug. When I went online to order a replacement I kept seeing the H&S motorsports billet housing cover and it has great revues. Is anyone using this?? One of my questions is: does the fuel filter still snap into place on the billet one? And has anyone had good luck with it so far? Thanks in advance

I ordered one up but in the videos he doesn’t install it onto a truck that I could find. He just said it “works”. I was wondering specifically if the filter will still snap into the housing cover like the factory one. Do you have experience with the billet housing?

Normally when you buy any aftermarket product it functions like OEM. Otherwise they wouldn’t sell a product.
You’ll be just fine.

Instructions are available on the HSM website. They show the factory filter with o-rings being lubed and slid into the HSM housing.
